Merkle-Korff offers standard and custom output shafts to meet a varying range of customer specifications. The most commonly used machining and dimensional configurations are shown below as standard offerings. Custom machining and dimensions to meet varying specifications are available on request.

Merkle-Korff offers a variety of shaft materials including cold rolled and stainless steel. The company also offers special finishes such as black oxide and value-added services such as heat treating. The majority of gearboxes are available with 1/4", 5/16" and 3/8" diameter output shafts. The Merkle-Korff GF Series is available up to 1/2" diameter. The LY Series up to 5mm diameter. Metric dimensioning on all shafts is available as required. Custom lengths are available on both single and double shaft extensions.
